We are often asked if is it okay to bring in a cat the week before having company for dinner? The answer is, “it’s fine.” A new kitty needs time to adjust to his home, so that means initially being kept in a quiet room where it can get used to the new scents of the home and family. Just leave your new family member in a closed room, without a lot of visitors, and they will be perfectly fine.

Please come by Saturday to meet some super cat and kittens, — Pawdry Hepburn, Sissy, Tommy, Cheddar, Batman, Thing One & Thing Two, Simon, Antonia, Bear, Winfried, Chippy, Grey, Reece, George, Fred, Peanut, and more characters will be there waiting to meet you!

Meet Maggie

Meet Maggie, she is 5 months old. She is vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed. According to her feline-alities she is a Personal Assistant. She wants to be part of everything your doing. She isn’t nervous of strangers. If you hold her she will quickly jump away, but it’s only because she has lots of energy and things to do.

She tends to play rough with other kittens and I keep a close eye with younger kittens, because she loves to play fight. She would be good with cats, dogs, and kids. She’s been in a foster home since birth.

Email phyllis891@att.net if you want to meet her.

Foster Needed!

Once upon a time a family of kittens had a whole room to themselves to run and be kittens. Now, through no fault of their own, they are in a cage.

These sweet kittens were given to the rescue by the person who rescued them. Of course we took them in…it’s what we do and the kittens are innocents.

These sweethearts (there are seven of them total) are available for adoption. In the meantime, we need a place for them to go so they can be kittens and run. Can someone please help them and foster? They are current on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, microchipped and ready to be adopted! We need a foster home to move them to ASAP.

Living in a cage is no place for them but it is the only alternative at the moment. Contact Phyllis at 323-394-0954 or Julie at 714-756-0679 (text please) if you can help. Orange County, Imperial County please.
