Foster Needed!

One of our wonderful foster families is unable to foster the mom and three kittens they have been fostering for the past five weeks.   We need someone to take over fostering these cuties, or even adopt them. Two of the five original kittens have already been adopted; the three above (Ivan, Kylo and Leon), and their very sweet mom, still need homes.

Please contact Julie at jparlett4@aol.com or 714-756-0679. Please network and share.  The current foster is in Anaheim and we need someone quickly, preferably in Orange County or north San Diego County.

Foster Needed

We have more kittens in need of a foster. They are currently in a shelter and need to be moved out ASAP. As everyone knows, a shelter is a really bad place for kittens. In addition to the danger of never leaving the shelter, their little immune systems aren’t developed yet and they are at risk of becoming sick. Surrounded by barking dogs, they are in a constant state of fear and stress.

If you can open your home and heart to foster these little ones, please contact Julie at 714-756-0679 (text is best). If you can’t foster, please network so we can get these guys out before it’s too late.

Bottle Feeder Needed

We are a foster based rescue and can only save kitties when we have a foster. We rescued these cuties because we had a foster lined up. Unfortunately, the foster flaked and now we need a place for them ASAP! Can someone please step up? Bottle feeding is easy, short term and actually fun if not a little messy! Long Beach/Belmont Shores or South Orange County would be great. Text Julie at 714-756-0679. Thanks!

Foster Needed

Update:  We found a foster!  Kittens are safe.
URGENT! Time is running out. This bottle baby and his three siblings have been in the shelter almost a week and no one has stepped up. They need to be pulled today. We will pull them if a foster can take them in. According to shelter staff, they eat very, very well and are healthy. (not to mention CUTE!) Please text Julie at 714-756-0679 if you can take them. They eat every 4-5 hours. Shelter estimates they are about 3 weeks old so bottle feeding will be short term. South Orange County would be great! We will supply bottles and formula. Please help! These kittens deserve a chance to grow up and find perfect forever homes.

Foster Needed

Mom and kittens need immediate rescue! Momma and babies are in a shelter and mom is very stressed and not taking care of the babies. We need a foster so we can pull her and move her to someplace where she feels safe. Contact Julie at 714-756-0679 if you can foster. Orange County/North San Diego County please.⠀ Repost/share freely.

Fosters Needed!

HELP NEEDED NOW! This time of year is hard for rescues. We get so many pleas for help and we feel helpless because we are limited. Right now, there are multiple situations that our rescue is trying to help with. A colony of cats are in imminent danger of being picked up by animal control and taken to a shelter where they will be euthanized. There are at least two pregnant moms and three moms with babies that we can move as soon as we have fosters. In addition, there are two pregnant moms living outside and three nursing moms that are outdoors as well…with their kittens. ⠀

Bottom line is WE NEED FOSTERS! All you need is a small room to keep them in so mom can do her thing. It’s for a short time, rescue provides all vetting and placement of kitties. Please, please open your hearts and homes and help us save these kitties. Contact Julie at 714-756-0679 (text is best) or jparlett4@aol.com or go to our website at southerncountiesrescue.org, the “Get Involved” tab has a link for a foster form (Application). ⠀

Foster(s) Needed

Hello everyone! We have a bit of a situation. One of our fosters recently found out she is pregnant. (Congratulations Kim!) She is considered a high risk pregnancy and will not be able to continue as a foster mom.

We need to move her kitties ASAP. Please contact Julie at 714-756-0679 if you can help. There are two teens/adults and one mom with kittens. We can divide them up if needed. The mom has to go with the babies. They are only 4 weeks old.

Thank you!

Meet Sprat, Cora, and Tulip

These three cuties are two months old but not quite ready to be adopted. Right now, they are indoors but crated. They need room to run around and be kittens. Rescuer is doing a great job, but has very limited space. We need a foster (or foster to adopt ?) for these three.

Please contact Julie at 714-756-0679 (text please) or go to our website at southerncountiesrescue.org and complete a foster application (“Get Involved” tab), or the adoption application. Please share and network. These three are miserable in a crate and desperately need to run, play and climb.

It’s Kitten Season Already

KITTEN SEASON IS ALIVE AND WELL IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA! Meet sweet, sweet Ebony. She gave birth to four kittens of her own and accepted two orphans as her own. She is very friendly but in dire need of a foster. She is outside and not safe.

We need a foster for her and her babies ASAP. Please contact Julie at 714-756-0679 (text please) or go directly to our website at southerncountiesrescue.org and complete our Foster Application. (locate by clicking the “Get Involved” button at the top of Home Page). The sooner we get this family inside and safe the better. Looking for Orange County or Oceanside area)
